About Büsra Cundioglu

Büsra Cundioglu is a New York-based attorney whose education, professional development, and legal career have been shaped in the United States. She moved to the United States with her family at the age of 15 to attend high school and has remained in the country since that time. This background has given her a longstanding understanding of American legal and business culture, together with an informed perspective on the cultural and commercial considerations that often arise for Turkish and other international clients.

Before founding her firm, Cundioğlu developed her practice in law firms of different sizes and structures since 2012. After serving as a Senior Associate at a large law firm, she decided to establish her own practice. She has independently managed complex civil and commercial matters through motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation, served in an outside-counsel capacity for businesses, managed a litigation department's caseload, and supervised and trained attorneys and professional staff.

Her early legal training included public-sector and courtroom experience on both sides of the criminal justice system. She supported prosecutors at the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney for Fairfax County, Virginia, and later assisted the Insurance and Unemployment Fraud Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General's Criminal Bureau as a Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03-certified student attorney. At the Harvard Law Criminal Justice Institute, she assisted in representing indigent adults and juveniles in the Boston Municipal Court from arrest through disposition.

Cundioğlu also practiced international trade and intellectual property litigation in Washington, D.C., focusing on Section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission and related federal matters involving patents, trademarks, trade dress, and customs law. She authored "Potential, But Untried Uses of Section 337" for the International Trade Commission Trial Lawyers Association.

Today, Cundioğlu advises and represents U.S., Turkish, and other international businesses, business owners, executives, and individuals in disputes, transactions, and other significant legal matters. Her practice includes commercial and civil litigation, corporate and business law, construction, employment, logistics and maritime matters, cross-border transactions and disputes, family law, bankruptcy, and selected insurance and personal injury matters.

Cundioğlu earned her Juris Doctor from New England Law Boston, where she was named to the Dean's List and represented the school in an American Bar Association regional negotiation competition. She earned her Bachelor of Science from George Mason University, where she was also named to the Dean's List and inducted into the Alpha Phi Sigma honor society.
